Thursday's Journal

Today I decided to make the children some peanut butter cookies as a treat. Okay I figured I could handle it. Then I decided to surprise them by making fudgy buttons to put on top. Fudgy buttons are chocolate/peanut butter fudge candies. Foolishly I thought that I could handle the temptation for that too. So I made them and then I had to taste one. So I had one. Then I thought just one more. And finally I ended up having one more but without the fudgy button on top. These were yummy. But I used 14.5 points on them. It's a good thing I had only had oatmeal for breakfast before that. So I guzzled the water and ended the day with a turkey sandwich. I only went over my points by .5, which isn't to bad. And I avoided the salt today. So I should be okay. Except now I am paranoid of salt and retaining water and I am worried about the 4 tiny slices of healthy choice lunchmeat I had on my sandwich. Sometimes I think I'm nuts!

Here is my food journal:

oatmeal with T sugar and 1/4 cup milk: 5.5
3-1/2 peanut butter cookies: 10.5
2 fudgy buttons: 4
turkey sandwich: 2.5

That's it for today. I also exercised for 30 minutes and earned 2 activity points.
